March 26, 2018 (Riga, Latvia) — This month, X Infotech is actively involved in career events organized by the leading Latvian universities. It all started with Riga Technical university (RTU) Career Day that is the major student event for career prospects in Latvia. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the event was held on March 1, 2018 and brought together more than 100 companies from different industries.
In the middle of March, X Infotech participated in the career event organized by Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) – the private university that is recognized for scientific studies in engineering and computer science. The TSI Career Day has grown in size, gaining popularity not only among Latvian students but also students from Central Asian countries.
X Infotech has been a strategic partner of the university for many years and this event was no exception. The global software provider was one of the main event supporters and sponsored the student competition.
In addition to the career fair, everyone was invited to join company presentations. This year, our software developer Boris Fofanov shared his experience about work at X Infotech. He also told about the internship program and scientific work competition that X Infotech offers to help students start their career path in IT.
