What is an info-kiosk ?

Info-kiosk is a self-service terminal placed strategically in high profile public areas, providing easy access to information and remote services, for all users. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, info-kiosks instantly provide memorable visual, audio and textual information.

Universal self-service terminals are anti-vandal devices, which can be located in any premises and equipped with multimedia interface which allows wide range of customers to perform various types of payments (e.g. utility, for mobile service, etc.), or use for operations with their banking accounts. Terminals comply with all modern standards of international payments networks both for magnetic stripe and EMV cards.

Software components include payment gateway, internet monitor of self-service terminal network, system of remote order and sales of banking products, and software for payment terminals.
System allows to manage and monitor network through the Internet:

  • Shows current status of terminal
  • Shows technical characteristics of terminal
  • Shows status of terminal’ s cassette
  • Shows warning from terminal equipment
  • Stores all events occurred on terminals
  • Sends management commands and advertising messages

Remote control and terminal network management give significant competitive advantage to the bank, as it allows to react rapidly on different situations, minimizing downtime and, therefore, reducing expenses.

Video banking possibilities
There is special application aimed for remote servicing of physical and legal persons. Distinctive characteristic of given application is the ability to produce effect very close to real visit of customer to the bank branch, by means of using modern banking and internet technologies. Availability of interactive audio/video contact between the customer and bank clerk gives impression of live contact, which allows to decrease deficiencies of remote customer service through info-terminals, ATMs and Internet banking.

Application uses both audio and video communication, mechanisms of linked viewing of documents and necessary data input, work with payment cards using card readers and PIN Pads, support of info-terminals functional features.

Joint usage of video-banking application of payment acceptance systems allows bank to offer fully-functional remote service, which includes introduction to the list of available services, consultancy with appropriate bank specialist, possibility to choose appropriate product or service, as well as payment acceptance or cash acceptance.

Application includes 4 main independent modules:

  • Personal informational servicing of the customer
  • Joint selection (customer - bank) of the best offer / product
  • Preparation of payment order and payment processing
  • Support of remote branches and consulting of remote offices of the bank
