Electronic Gift Cards' project

X InfoTech`s subsidiary company, X CARD, had experience in the Electronic Gift Cards' implementation project with the Shopping Centre, located in Riga. 

The Shopping Centre wanted to implement the Electronic Gift Cards’ system to allow clients do more reliable, flexible, and easy shopping. The main purpose of the Shopping Center was to optimize the outdated paper voucher system. The paper gift voucher had several shortcomings; it could be used in a determinate number of stories in the Shopping Centre, and could be used only once. Also, there were problems with money flow between retailers and the Shopping Centre.

To solve this problem, X CARD offered a web-based solution for data administration and management. This system collected all transactions related to the gift cards, and the Shopping Centre could at any time access reports about all issued gift card amounts and purchases in all shops. To ensure the acceptance of cards in each store in the Shopping Centre, X CARD used the existing infrastructure of POS terminals and Cash registered systems. For Electronic Gift Card issuing, X CARD supplied desktop printers and software, enabling cards to be issued instantly.

The offered solution helped the Shopping Centre optimize money transfer between retailers, improved customer service, and facilitated payment. This solution allowed the Shopping Centre sell more Electronic Gift Cards, increasing its profits.

Every client can buy the Electronic Gift Card, choosing the amount and individual design of the gift card. This card can be used in several payments and in any shop, which allows the client to shop more conveniently.
