EMV implementation project

In October, 2010 - X InfoTech successfully cooperated in smart card implementation projects with ELKART (Poland) for City Handlowy Bank. 

One of the leading financial institutions in Poland, City Handlowy Bank, in cooperation with Warsaw Public Transport Authority, issued multi-application cards combining into one card contact and contactless EMV payments with municipal ticketing functionality.

For this project, ELKART provided central personalization services that had been implemented in cooperation with our company.  X InfoTech delivered data preparation and personalization software, personalization scripts, and provided assistance during the certification process with VISA & MasterCard.

The project was launched in October 2010, and the card was awarded the main prize for „The most Innovative Card in Poland in the year 2010” at the Central European Electronic Card conference in December.
